Note that the route is an approximate figure of 8 - if you want to do the longer (22 or 28km) routes, you need to go LEFT when you reach the river. For the shorter 12km route, turn RIGHT (for HOME) when you reach the river.

We don't have permission to mark the route with anything other than wood shavings piles so there will NOT be tape or signage out on the route.

A lovely social ride on forestry tracks, no gates and minimal road work. Route options of approximately 12 km, 22km and 28 km.

Venue: The venue is Symonds Yat Rock car park. The postcode for Symonds Yat Rock visitor attraction is GL16 7NZ: the car park is adjacent to the cafe etc. The OS Grid Reference is SO564160. What3Words: divorcing.noun.trap marks the entrance to the car park.

 

Please make sure you arrive from the Coleford (south) side on the B4432 and do not try to access it from the Huntsham/Goodrich (north) side as the road here is very narrow, single track, and you may well get stuck! More Information about the venue and parking can be found in the rider info PDF.

Entry fee: £18 for members, £23 for non-members, to include the Forestry permit. Note that you need to pay for parking: £3 for 2 hours, £5 for 4 hours and £7 all day.
